Sidewalk Flyers has decided to discontinue its line of Model Aero Hobby products as of 11-15-06. C3GM the parent company of Sidewalk Flyers has sold the manufacturing arm of the company to one of its wholesale customers in Rapid City South Dakota. That sale took place in May of 2006 and included all of the wood manufacturing equipment consisting of the CNC machines, wood finishing equipment, and wood material processing equipment. The buyer has stated that they do not wish to manufacture under contract for C3GM and will concentrate on their primary product line which is Rubber Band Toy Guns.
“Without a reliable and economical source of supply there was no choice but to sell off the remaining inventory” stated Carl L. Myers the owner of C3GM. “Beginning 11-15-06 all of the Sidewalk Flyer product will be sold to Aero Hobbyist at greatly reduced prices, while supply lasts”.
A visit to the company site at www.c3gm.com will show all of the popular part numbers from their original “Big Chief” field box, Folding Work Stands, Glue and Tool Organizer, Wing Cradles and many more of their unique designs at Special Close-Out Prices. Included in this list will be the popular model train “Cradler” and the children’s ride-on Bi-plane / Rocker.
